How do you feel about Morris Township?

A diverse community . . . great schools . . . good shopping . . . great quality of living . . . excellent transportation . . . relatively low taxes / good value for tax dollars spent . . . excellent recreation facilities . . . a successful open space acquisition program . . . excellent leadership.

We have all chosen to live in Morris Township for our own reasons, and while living in New Jersey in these times is not without its frustrations, we are fortunate here in Morris Township to have a quality of life that is the envy of many of our neighbors. This can be credited to decades of responsible and far-sighted leadership by Republicans who have served the Township while keeping our taxes as low as possible.

We will have a decision to make on November 8th as to whether this tradition of Republican leadership will continue. There is two open seats on the Township Committee, the Township's executive body, and we have two outstanding candidates: Dan Caffrey, a current Township Committee member who also has a record of public service that shows his dedication to Morris Township and his eagerness to serve our community. Joining Dan in this year's election campaign is Andres Benvenuto, who is running to replace Committeeman Ray Snyder, who is retiring. Additional background for each candidate can be found under the " Campaign 2011" section of the website.

Our objective is to inform everyone who visits this Web site, and those who attend our events, about developments on the state and local levels that will affect Morris Township. We want all Republicans to feel confident and proud of their Party and its principles so that you can take all you learn and share it during the coming months with your friends and families at every appropriate opportunity. We encourage you to attend our events this fall and year-round...you will find them to be enjoyable, informative and useful to everyone who cares about Morris Township and how it will be managed in the future.

Engaging our friends and acquaintances in this outreach, and asking for their vote, is as easy as asking them a simple question . . .
